Answers to questions we're not sure you have

Asked Questions

How do I know if I'm in the Bean Club?

To become a member, simply subscribe to the items in your cart. You can select a delivery cadence that works best for you, and update or cancel your membership anytime.

How will the products get to me?

If you're in Chicago, we will deliver it to you in person. Keep an eye on your email to find out your delivery window.

Do these products need to be refrigerated?

Yes, please refrigerate your products, and eat them within a day or two of receiving them. They are made fresh, from only whole ingredients, without artificial preservatives of any kind.

Do any of these products contain common food allergens?

Yes. While all of our products are vegan (we never use dairy, eggs, or honey), some do contain other common allergens, like tree nuts or sesame. Please check the ingredient list for each product.

Additionally, please note that the products free of common allergens are being made in a kitchen alongside products containing allergens. If you do have a severe food allergy, consider waiting until we roll out a more controlled manufacturing process.

Are these products vegan?

Yes. However, veganism includes a larger and more rigorous ethical framework, so we chose to start with the term "plant-based". We do think veganism has merit, and we hope that our products appeal to our many vegan and non-vegan friends alike.

What gave you the idea to start making these products?

We've spent plenty of time in the tofu section of the grocery store, and always felt that something was missing. So we made it: actually healthful products made exclusively from whole plant foods that are delicious and ready to eat.
